Jessica Rey - The evolution of the swim suit

I couldn't figure out how to add this to the post 'Beach Time!' after Rey Swimwear so here it is now!

Beach Time!

We all know that when you go to the beach the majority if the female swim suits are bikinis. Like this one:
Or this one:
(I promise that I will try to keep this blog clean. No girls in bikinis. No super scantily clad women.)

There are many girls who have decided that they don't want to be a part of this wave. Many times those girls are forced to choose between a bikini, or swimming. There are also those girls who would rather where a bikini than a granny suit. A granny suit like this:
(Many girls think this is super cute! I however do not. I will admit that this is on the cuter side of granny suits)

And I honestly believe that you'd drown in this.⤵ Not only would the fabric get too heavy. But there is so much fabric you'd be lost in it.

I don't believe you will go to heck for wearing this⤵ over that⤴
(I love my cheesy arrows.)

Now that I have shown you cute bikinis, disastrous suits, and a cute one. I hope you haven't lost all hope in finding one for yourself.
You might have to spend a little more on the suit of your dreams, you might have to design it. But I promise you will fine one you like!

Drumroll please!

I will now bring out the suits. Some of these will not have links because I can't find them but they are there to give you ideas, and hope!

Lime ricki- this is an online swimsuit store. They have a designer line, called Parker-Barker, that has exactly one suit I like as of 2013. And then has a separate line that I absolutely love!

Parker-Barker:
This is the one suit I like from Parker-Barker. I love the striped belt, and the navy color. But it's kind of boring!

Philly-illy-int:
That's what I use to call elephants. I absolutely love this suit! It's fun, I love the colors, and it has a long tankini top. The belt would sit just right on my slightly hourglass figure. I believe the ruffle on the bottom with the simple would look good on a top heavy girl.

Green and yellow:
This suit would be good for a girl who wants to make her torso look longer. I actually like this mix of colors, I wouldn't have thought of these Colors together not so close. And the rouching ont the sides are gorgeous!

A dash of sailor:
This would be stunning on a boy shaped body, or a slightly bottom heavy girl who is thin. I'm pretty sure that anyone could pull this off. I love tha boats and the stripes and the colors!

Real teal:
Okay this is turquoise. I had a Polk-a-dot suit four years ago. And I loved it!
Do you want to know a secret? The rouching (ruffled, gathered sides) makes you look slimmer! Especially if you have a slightly looser suit! if you stand tall and proud it will make no one notice your stomach! They will be too busy looking at the stunning woman in front of them!

Red the color of desire:
I love this suit! For once pattern/color blocking is done right on a suit! You never want a suit that color blocks one butt cheek/bust. You should do the whole bottom price a different color, like they did, and/or you should color block the top like this one. I love it!

Nautical love:
Go mix the Philly-illy-int suit with a dash of sailor and you will get how I feel about this suit! The belt would sit just right on my slightly hourglass figure. I believe the ruffle on the bottom with the simple would look good on a top heavy girl.

Flower power:
This has the same shape as both the Philly-illy-ant suit and the Nautical love suit. again The belt would sit just right on my slightly hourglass figure. I believe the ruffle on the bottom with the simple would look good on a top heavy girl. I love the pattern and colors! Would look good in blues too!

You can get those suits and more at:

I was really dissapointed with both Modbe swim and Downeast basics swim this year but I will still include them.

Downeast basics and Modbe- modbe is confusing to work with, it was bought by Downeast Basics around two years ago. But you can look up modbe swim on google and get to it from there or you can go to:
and try to decide what is what.

Birds of a feather:
I love birds, always have always will. So this suit would be so much fun! The v-neck looks amazing on a top heavy girl or an hourglass figure.

Fun in the sun:
This is a suit that you would have to try on to see if it looks go on you. Since I have never seen anyone in it I couldn't tell you what body types look good in it.

Flora:
I love the floral print with the stripes. This would look good on a boy shaped figure. And this v-neck would look good on a top heavy girl. Beware about the midriff showing especially top heavy girls!

Sparkles
This suit...I love it but I hate it too it reminds me of Princess Leia.

Scallops:
Scallops are in right now. You see them all the time. This suit would give me everything I wanted from a bikini I was in love with but it give me the coverage I want. I has a really cute skirt like bottom to go with it.

Divinita Sole- I love these suits! They have plain Jane, adorable, sweet, sassy, and they are all modest! I will just have to give you the pictures!!!! gorgeous! and the best part is that they are high quality, they have so many styles, and they tell you what type of body they look best on! You can find them on:      http://www.divinitasole.com

I'm not even going to describe them!

That is only about half of the suits they sell!

Albion Fit- this store sells some of the cutest swimsuits ever, not all of them are modest and they are pretty expensive but if you found a swim suit you loved for $104 would you buy it? you can buy these suits at:
http://www.albionfit.com/swims

Red- a day about to dawn! Black-the night that ends at last! (Les Miserables):

Aren't those lovely! Seeing as this is the second Les Miserables quote I hope you can tell that I am a fan.

Ruffles and stuff:

I love this suit! I used to want to be a designer and I always wanted to design something like this!

J.Crew- they have all types of swim! rash guards, one pieces, bikinis, and tankinis.
you can find these suits at:

Flittering:
I have to say I found this on pinterest so I have no clue if they still sell this one, but it is cute!

I love these Tankinis:

And this one-piece:

You better get this down on paper, because I will never say this again! I actually love these rash guards!

Rey swimwear- These swimsuits are so cute and the story behind them. AMAZING! I love it. you can find these swimsuits at:

these where all inspired by Audrey Hepburn:
